Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Industrial Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software. Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify accuracy and compliance with electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards. Manage project contracts, change orders, and procurement processes utilizing systems like ProCore, Prolog, or HeavyBid for cost estimation and tracking. Oversee permitting phases by collaborating with local authorities to secure necessary approvals while ensuring all work complies with electrical building codes and safety regulations. Conduct construction site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety protocols, and adherence to design specifications. Lead project meetings focusing on schedule coordination, risk mitigation, cost management, and team communication to keep projects on track. Requirements Proven experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects within industrial settings. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, system design, and electrical blueprint reading. Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Prolog, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and scheduling software. Familiarity with construction estimating methods including HeavyBid or similar platforms. Deep understanding of electrical codes including NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 compliance requirements. Experience in construction management from permitting through commissioning phases with involvement in the permitting process. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards. Ability to review construction drawings thoroughly and coordinate construction schedules efficiently. Strong organizational skills for cost management, project budgeting, contract administration, and documentation control. Valid experience in managing electrical systems design integration within complex industrial projects.
