Job Description

Residential Site Supervisor Fairbanks Resource Agency (FRA) is seeking a Residential Site Supervisor to support our residential programs serving individuals with disabilities. This position plays a key role in leading staff, ensuring quality care, and maintaining a safe and supportive home environment.
Position Overview:
The Residential Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising, training, and supporting Supported Living Specialists while also providing direct support to participants. This role works closely with the Residential Team Leader to manage daily operations, ensure quality services, and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements. This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with individuals while also coaching and developing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and support Supported Living Specialists Provide direct care and support to participants as needed Assist with daily operations of the home, including scheduling and staffing coverage Cover shifts as needed and coordinate emergency staffing situations, on call rotation Support participant health and safety, including medications and medical coordination Ensure accurate and timely documentation (case notes, medication logs, reports, etc.) Maintain compliance with residential regulations, waiver services, and agency policies Participate in hiring, training, performance management, and staff development Monitor home operations including supplies, environment, and overall upkeep Maintain clear and professional communication with staff, participants, and leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (Psychology, Social Work, etc.) Relevant experience may substitute for education on year by year basis At least 1 year of experience providing direct care Supervisory experience in a residential setting preferred Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving requirements Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in on-call rotation
