Rainbow Omega, Inc. is a faith-based, non-profit organization that provides comprehensive vocational and residential care programs to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our residential group homes provide a safe, loving, and community-centered environment where residents thrive. We are seeking dedicated House Managers to anchor our homes, foster independent living, and build meaningful relationships with our wonderful residents. Position Summary The House Manager is responsible for overseeing daily residential operations and providing hands-on life skills coaching to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this uniquely structured role, you will live and work alongside residents during your shifts, helping them manage their household, coordinate recreational activities, and navigate daily life while respecting their personal dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities Life Skills Mentorship:
Teach, guide, and assist residents with activities of daily living, including planning and cooking nutritious meals, managing laundry, home cleaning, and personal hygiene.
Community Integration:
Coordinate and lead fun residential activities, social events, and community outings.
Household Management :
Ensure the group home remains safe, clean, organized, and compliant with organization standards.
Overnight Care:
Remain present overnight in the home to ensure resident safety (sleeping during overnight hours is permitted). Available Work Schedules We offer three distinct full-time schedules to best fit your lifestyle (Part-Time and PRN options are also available):
House Manager I:
Rotational schedule of 1 week on duty, followed by 1 week off.
House Manager II:
Rotational schedule of 2 weeks on duty, followed by 1 week off. Note for Schedule 1 & 2 : Weekday hours are 3:30 PM to 9:00 AM (you are off duty from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM while residents are at the vocational center). You remain on duty 24 hours a day over weekends, holidays, and when the vocational center is closed.
Weekend House Manager:
Work schedule runs from 3:30 PM on Friday afternoon continuously through 9:00 AM on Monday morning.
Job Requirements & Qualifications Age Requirement:
Must be at least 20 years of age .
Education :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Licensing :
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Experience :
One (1) year of experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals is preferred.
Background Check:
A clear pre-employment background check and a clean drug screen are strict requirements.

A dedicated private bedroom and private bathroom within the home, plus all meals provided while on shift.
