Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

They act as the primary link between property owners and tenants, and handle marketing vacancies, tenant screening, rent collection, routine maintenance, and legal compliance.
Responsibilities Tenant Management:
Advertise available units, screen applicants, and enforce lease agreements. Address tenant concerns, handle disputes, and manage the eviction process if necessary.
Maintenance & Upkeep:
Coordinate routine repairs, schedule regular property inspections, and oversee contracted maintenance workers.
Financial Operations:
Set competitive rental rates, collect monthly rent, and manage operating budgets. Maintain financial records and prepare reports for property owners.
Legal Compliance:
Ensure the property meets all local, state, and federal housing regulations and safety codes. Skills Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective team management skills combined with leadership qualities to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment. Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting, documentation, and team coordination. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AppFolio Property Manager . Experience managing multifamily residential properties. Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating property repairs. Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs, vendor management, and property budgeting. Experience with rent collections, delinquency management, application screening, and resident relations.
