Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Overview Join our dynamic property management team as an Apartment Manager, where you will lead the day-to-day operations of residential communities to ensure exceptional living experiences for residents and seamless property performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage leasing activities, oversee property maintenance, and foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors alike. As an energetic and motivated leader, you will drive occupancy rates, uphold compliance with housing regulations, and contribute to the overall success of our property portfolio. Duties Oversee leasing processes, including lease or rental agreement management, tenant screening, and onboarding to maximize occupancy and revenue. Maintain comprehensive property records using property management tools such as OneSite, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates. Manage tenant relations by providing excellent customer service, resolving conflicts effectively, and handling inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained living environments. Administer budgeting tasks, track expenses, and assist with financial reporting to support property profitability. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, Section 8 programs, and other legal requirements. Collaborate with team members to implement leasing strategies, upselling opportunities, and client communication initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction and retention. Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, preferably within a property management company setting. Strong knowledge of property management software such as OneSite and customer relationship management tools. Familiarity with landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, and legal administrative procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and conflict resolution skills. Experience in lease or rental agreement management, budgeting, facilities management, and property maintenance coordination. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and negotiation abilities for contracts and lease terms. Office experience including data entry, filing systems, conflict management strategies, and administrative support functions necessary for smooth operations.
