On-site Compensation:
$23-$26 per hour, depending on experience A professionally managed apartment community in Fayetteville is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations, leasing, resident service, and account administration. This position is suited to someone who is organized, comfortable discussing balances and lease requirements, and dependable about following through. Prior apartment management experience is preferred, including experience as a leasing professional ready for additional responsibility. Responsibilities Assist the Property Manager with daily community operations and provide coverage when the manager is unavailable. Monitor resident balances, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate documentation of collection efforts. Prepare lease agreements, renewal offers, notices, and other resident correspondence according to company procedures. Review applications and supporting documentation for completeness and process them according to established screening criteria. Respond to leasing inquiries, conduct tours, follow up with prospects, and support occupancy goals. Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including paperwork, apartment readiness, and communication with maintenance. Address resident questions and concerns professionally and follow through on unresolved items. Maintain accurate resident files, account information, and activity records in the property management system. Assist with reports, invoice processing, and other administrative responsibilities. Follow fair housing requirements, company policies, and consistent leasing and resident-service practices. Qualifications Previous experience in multifamily leasing or property management. Experience with resident accounts, collections, and renewals strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities without losing track of deadlines. Clear, professional written and verbal communication. Sound judgment when handling confidential information and sensitive resident situations. Comfort using property management software, email, and spreadsheets. Ability to work on-site and accommodate occasional weekend needs. Yardi experience required, including working with resident accounts, payments, lease administration, and reporting. Proficiency with email and spreadsheets.
