A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Fort Smith, AR Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Must be able to be on call and work every other Saturday for up to 4 hours Occasional weekend work required We are seeking a professional, dependable, and organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential property. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in maintaining a clean, professional property.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the property office. Process leasing agreements and resident paperwork. Answer phones and assist current and prospective residents. Collect rent and accurately handle cash and other forms of payment. Maintain organized records and files. Show available units and assist with move-ins and move-outs. Keep the office and property clean and well-maintained. Conduct regular property inspections and walk the grounds. Address resident concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
Previous money-handling experience required. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn property management software. Excellent customer service and professional phone etiquette. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Business casual appearance and professional demeanor. Willingness to clean and maintain a neat office and property. Must be able to walk the property frequently and climb stairs on a regular basis. Previous property management, leasing, office administration, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
