Full Job Description Description Job Overview:
In conjunction with the Board of Directors, manage the business of the association to deliver exceptional services and solutions that enhance the value of the property and the lifestyle of the residents.
Compensation:
$100k + annually, based on experience FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
Review monthly financials with the Regional Director and Board when necessary Plan, organize and assist the Board in conducting Board and annual membership meetings Attend Board of Directors meetings, club and committee meetings as required Offer direction, assistance and mentorship to members of the community team, including Project Manager and/or Facilities Director, promoting their professional development to ensure property needs and goals are being met Review incident reports, respond and implement timely solutions Identify, coordinate, and market all community events, programs, and services Communicate with residents to address homeowner concerns and assist in dispute resolution Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance requests to ensure work is completed on time and within budget Recommend and implement procedures that ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as with all community association governing documents and policies Establish, draft, execute and supervise community annual budget, manage capital improvements, review monthly financial statements, prepare variance reporting, monitor community A/P, delinquent accounts, approve and code all vendor invoices Oversee the regular maintenance and inspection of the community and other essential building systems to ensure safety and functionality Track non-compliance/violation issues, send appropriate notices according to established policies Inspect building and exterior common areas, building systems, landscape and other common amenities and then ensure necessary repair and maintenance activities are conducted in a timely manner
Skills and Qualifications:
Able to identify issues and resolve before problems arise Able to diffuse tense situations and mediate disputes among residents Ensuring accuracy and completeness in all work, particularly in compliance, financial management, and maintenance oversight Exceptional interpersonal skills to cultivate strong working relationships and promote teamwork Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas Exceptional attention to detail Collaborative and cooperative, working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve common goals Superb judgment and decision-making skills
Education and Experience:
CAAM, CMCA or PCAM designation preferred 5+ years of HOA management experience (required) 5+ years managing others (required) Experience working with large communities consisting of single-family, condominium and/or court home mixture (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
Walk and move throughout the community common areas and facilities Sit and stand for moderate periods of time Sit at a desk using a computer in an office setting
