Full-Time, Exempt About the Role Are you an organized logistics professional ready to manage high-value assets while making a real community impact? In this pivotal role as Property Manager, you will safeguard, track, and manage federal property and equipment. Beyond logistics, you will help shape the workforce of tomorrow by mentoring and training young adult Job Corps students in real-world supply chain and inventory operations. Your Impact & Key Responsibilities Lead Inventory & Distribution:
Supervise all ordering, receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities for goods arriving at the Center.
Mentor Future Professionals:
Supervise and guide Job Corps' Work-Based Learning students, providing them with hands-on training in inventory control and logistics.
Build and Develop Staff:
Interview, hire, train, and motivate property department employees while fostering a supportive and accountable work environment.
Collaborate Across Departments:
Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings with Finance and Purchasing to reconcile property records and resolve vendor issues
Ensure Federal Compliance:
Partner directly with the Federal Regional Property Officer to handle asset lifecycles from initial receipt through annual certification and surplus disposal. Why Choose Us? Table Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree or relevant certification from an accredited training program is preferred.
Experience:
Background in warehousing, inventory control, and federal government property requirements is highly preferred; prior supervisory experience is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite are required to manage electronic tracking systems.
Licensing:
A valid in-state Driver's License is required, along with meeting company insurability standards.
Physical Ability:
Capability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, reach, stoop, and crouch to manage and inspect inventory safely.
