A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

  • Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Additional hours/days may be required based on property needs. Who You Are To be considered for this position, you should have… 2+ years' experience in the multifamily (or equivalent combination of education and experience). LIHTC experience 1+ years Affordable Housing experience-Tax Credit-RAD/Public Housing/Section 8
  • 1+ years Candidates must be well-versed in Federal Fair Housing, The Landlord Tenant Act, and ADA laws.
Must have a great attitude and a team mentality. Must have exceptional customer service. Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook is preferred A Day in the Life Conduct daily property walks to ensure excellent curb appeal and adherence to property policies. Timecard keeping and approving for other office and maintenance staff members. Ensure resident retention and maintain high occupancy rates. Handle sales and marketing ventures and positively brand the company and property. Track and handle revenue/expenses. Prepare and maintain reports for upper management. Timely collection of rent dues. Manage contract obligations. Coordinate all move-in/move-out related items and documents. Train and develop site staff Supervise any contractors or vendors working on the property and ensure they are completing items.
