Start Date:
Immediate — We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly, conduct property tours, and promote available units to maximize leasing opportunities. Manage lease and rental agreement processes from application intake through signing, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and applicable landlord-tenant laws. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to track vacancies, lease statuses, and resident information accurately. Handle resident and client communication professionally via phone, email, and in person, addressing inquiries promptly and effectively. Assist in coordinating property maintenance requests, inspections, and facilities management to maintain property standards. Support budgeting activities by tracking rental income, expenses, and preparing financial reports. Assist with legal and administrative procedures related to Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and other regulatory requirements . Collaborate with team members on resident concerns and conflict management while contributing to a positive team environment through effective communication and problem-solving. Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, legal documents, and property records while ensuring confidentiality. Participate in leasing and upselling efforts by promoting additional services, amenities, and community features that enhance resident satisfaction. Assist with day-to-day property operations and administrative duties as needed. Follow company policies, procedures, and Fair Housing requirements at all times. Experience & Qualifications Proven experience in property management, leasing, real estate, or administrative roles. Familiarity with property management software such as AppFolio & Bluemoon Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and contract management. Demonstrated customer service excellence with strong phone etiquette and resident relationship management skills. Experience managing lease or rental agreements from application processing through move-in procedures. Background in conflict resolution and negotiation within a property management environment. Office experience involving filing systems, legal documentation, budgeting support, and facilities oversight. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools or similar facilities management software is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Must be available to start immediately.
