Role:
The Eli Home in Anaheim, CA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Shelter Program House Manager to join our mission-driven team. In this vital role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our shelter program, ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment for those we serve. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily shelter operations, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment for residents Supervise, mentor, and support shelter staff and volunteers during assigned shifts Manage resident intake, orientation, and case coordination in collaboration with program staff Enforce shelter policies, procedures, and house rules while maintaining a trauma-informed approach Respond to resident crises, conflicts, and emergencies with appropriate intervention and de-escalation techniques Maintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and resident records in compliance with program standards Coordinate with social workers, case managers, and community resources to support resident needs Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness
Requirements:
Preferred:
2 years of experience in shelter management, residential programs, or social services
Preferred:
Experience working with vulnerable populations including survivors of abuse, trauma, or homelessness
Preferred:
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques
Preferred:
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a residential or shelter setting
Required:
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Must pass a background check in accordance with program and state requirements

Available shifts:
Monday through Sunday - 4pm to 12:00am & 12:00am to 8:00am Saturday and Sunday - 8:00am to 4:00pm
