Job Description

We are looking for a Community Manager to support the day-to-day management of a residential community in CA. This is a Contract position suited for a detail-oriented individual who can balance resident service, site operations, leasing coordination, and administrative oversight. The ideal candidate will help maintain a well-managed property by keeping operations organized, supporting occupancy goals, and ensuring compliance with applicable housing standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct daily community operations by coordinating site services, monitoring property conditions, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Partner with maintenance staff and external service providers to address repair needs, track preventive upkeep, and support timely apartment readiness for new residents.
  • Assist with leasing activities by handling applications, move-in and move-out administration, and organized waitlist management when required.
  • Maintain complete and accurate resident and leasing records while ensuring documentation aligns with program rules and company standards.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residents by resolving questions, responding to concerns, and reinforcing a positive living experience.
  • Support rent collection, review resident accounts, prepare operational reports, and contribute to budget tracking and financial organization.
  • Help uphold community policies by addressing compliance matters consistently and documenting follow-up actions as needed.
  • Oversee certification and recertification paperwork to help the property remain aligned with local, state, and federal housing requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to onsite team members by supporting scheduling, payroll coordination, training, and overall staff accountability.
