May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.
LIHTC BILINGUAL PROPERTY MANAGER -- MUST LIVE ON-SITE
(Buena Park, CA) A property management company specializing in multifamily affordable housing is seeking an experienced on-site property manager for a new 55-unit apartment community located in Buena Park, CA. The Resident Manager is responsible, under the supervision of the Regional Manager, for all operations at the community, including, but not limited to, general administration, maintenance, directing on-site personnel, and managing resources to ensure a stabilized fiscal operation. The position is full-time, non-exempt. The right candidate will be energetic with excellent customer service skills. Experience in property management properties subject to Affordable Housing programs including LIHTC is required. Experience with projects with permanent supportive housing (PSH) programs is preferred. The apartment complex is still under construction; once construction is complete, the Resident Manager will be required to live on-site in 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit with full concession. Until the unit is available, the Resident Manager will receive a monthly $3,000 cash-equivalent as housing allowance.
Responsibilities include:
