We are seeking a team member with applicable experience in commercial property management (e.g. experience as an Assistant Property Manager or Property Assistant) to work in tandem with a Senior Property Manager on a portfolio of five shopping centers. This is an on-site, Monday-Friday position located at Castro Village in Castro Valley, one of the five centers you will be assisting with the management of. It is important that any candidate have some (3-5 years minimum) experience in commercial property management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Developing and maintaining excellent client/tenant/vendor relationships Performing weekly site inspections Overseeing the maintenance and repair of the properties Overseeing a third party marketing company for Castro Village, including events for Halloween and the Holidays Preparation of annual budgets and monthly financial variance reports (in the MRI platform) Coding property invoices within the AVID exchange platform. Assisting with the preparation and analysis of tenant and property sales reports and sales reports Assisting with preparation of reimbursement reconciliations for CAM and taxes Coordinating administration of tenant leases and vendor contracts Administration of certificates of insurance and lease abstracts Skills required: Must have a four-year college degree Experience in commercial property management, preferably with some time spent involved in shopping center management. Candidates must possess exceptional organizational and computer skills - experience with MRI &Avid a plus) A basic understanding of accounting principles, and excellent written, verbal and customer service skills. Candidates should be skilled at multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and comfortable working independently.
