This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being visible in the community and taking ownership of issues from identification through resolution. The Community Manager will oversee day-to-day property operations, vendors, maintenance and capital projects, resident concerns, and support the Board of Directors. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular property inspections and proactively identify maintenance, safety, and appearance concerns. Oversee common areas and amenities, including the clubhouse, pool and spa, fitness facilities, landscaping, lighting, gates, and access systems. Manage vendors and contractors, including landscaping, janitorial, pool, security, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, work orders, and vendor access through completion. Obtain and review vendor proposals and provide recommendations to the Board. Oversee approved maintenance and capital projects from authorization through completion. Maintain accurate inspection reports, service records, project documentation, warranties, and photographs. Monitor operating expenses and review vendor invoices for completion and accuracy. Prepare monthly management reports and provide clear updates on projects, maintenance matters, and upcoming needs. Attend Board meetings, provide operational recommendations, and track Board directives through completion. Provide responsive, professional service to homeowners and residents and address common-area compliance concerns. Coordinate responses to property emergencies and promptly escalate significant safety, liability, insurance, or property-damage concerns. What We're Looking For HOA, community association, property management, or facilities-management experience. Experience managing vendors, contractors, maintenance, and projects. Strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Working knowledge of budgets, vendor proposals, contracts, and invoice review. Comfort using community-management software, Microsoft Office, email, and other business technology. Knowledge of California common-interest developments and the Davis-Stirling Act preferred. Community association management credentials are a plus.
