Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Property Management Runner / Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on position that supports the day-to-day operations of our property management portfolio and requires someone who is comfortable working both in the office and out in the field. This is a travel-heavy position , as you will regularly travel between properties, meet with vendors, assist with property inspections, coordinate access, deliver and retrieve items, follow up on maintenance issues, and help ensure our properties are operating smoothly. Reliable transportation is a must. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, takes initiative, communicates well, and can handle multiple priorities while providing excellent service to owners, tenants, vendors, and the property management team. Responsibilities Travel between multiple residential properties as needed Assist the Property Manager with daily property management operations Conduct property inspections and document property conditions Coordinate access for vendors, contractors, tenants, and team members Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and property turnovers Pick up and deliver keys, supplies, documents, and other property-related items Assist with lockboxes, access codes, and property access Follow up with vendors and contractors regarding maintenance and repairs Help coordinate and monitor maintenance requests Take photos and provide updates from properties Assist with vacant unit preparation and turnover coordination Help identify property issues and communicate them to the appropriate team member Maintain accurate property information and records Assist with tenant and owner requests as needed Help keep properties clean, secure, and presentable Perform other property management and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Previous property management, real estate, maintenance coordination, or customer service experience is preferred Reliable transportation, valid car insurace, and a valid driver's license are required Ability to travel between properties throughout the workday Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor Ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable using smartphones, email, and computer systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities Must be comfortable working both in an office and in the field Property management software experience, such as AppFolio, is a plus Maintenance or basic construction knowledge is a plus What We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who doesn't need to be told what to do every step of the way. You should be comfortable identifying what needs to be done, communicating with the team, and following through until the task is completed.
