Duties Oversee the daily operation and appearance of the property Conduct daily inspection of the building, common areas, and grounds Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained property Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions, concerns, and requests Coordinate maintenance & repairs with vendors and in-house maintenance scheduler Report maintenance issues & follow up to ensure repairs are completed properly/timely Turn over apartments for new residents and coordinating move-ins and move-outs Show available apartments to prospective residents and prepare lease documents Enforce terms & conditions of leases and communicate property rules to residents Monitor for unauthorized occupants, subleasing, property damage, or other lease violations and report concerns to management Maintain accurate records provide management office with updates Coordinate with management, contractors, and vendors as necessary Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify office Perform other property-related duties as assigned Collect monthly rents and delivery to management office Serve Notices when necessary Schedule and assist with preventative maintenance Requirements Previous apartment or property management experience preferred Excellent communication and customer-service skills Professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and follow through on responsibilities Reliable and responsive, with good attention to detail Basic computer and email skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle resident matters professionally The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in the appearance and condition of the property, is attentive to residents' needs, communicates well with management, and is proactive about identifying and addressing problems.
