May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description

The Owner Relations Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with vacation rental homeowners while maximizing owner satisfaction, property performance, and long-term retention. This role serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners, ensuring their investment is well maintained, competitively positioned, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, an excellent communicator, and able to balance owner expectations with company standards and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Owner Relationship Management Serve as the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of homeowners. Build trust through proactive communication, relationship building and regular property reviews. Respond promptly to owner questions, concerns, and requests. Prepare recommendations to improve guest satisfaction and rental performance. Manage owner expectations while advocating for company policies and operational best practices. Assist with onboarding new homeowners and new properties. Property Performance Review guest feedback and identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend property upgrades that increase bookings and nightly rates. Coordinate seasonal readiness of homes. Ensure homes meet company quality standards. Property Improvement Coordination - Work with the maintenance coordinators: Recommend furnishings, décor updates, maintenance projects, and amenity enhancements. Coordinate estimates from vendors. Manage approved owner improvement projects. Oversee installations and ensure quality completion. Assist owners with budgeting for larger capital improvements. Maintenance & Housekeeping Coordination Work closely with Maintenance and Housekeeping departments. Prioritize owner-requested repairs. Ensure maintenance issues affecting guest experience are resolved promptly. Review annual inspection reports, inventory reports and schedule deep cleaning. Follow up on recurring issues until resolved. Owner Communication Send seasonal newsletters and updates. Educate owners on industry trends and best practices. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years in vacation rental management, hospitality, real estate, or property management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong conflict resolution abilities. Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Highly organized and detail oriented. Strong project management and administrative skills. Proficient with Google Workspace. Experience with property management software (Escapia preferred). Knowledge of Mammoth Lakes vacation rental market. Vendor management experience. Hospitality or hotel management background. Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
