Vista International, Inc. is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Property Support Manager to support our growing multifamily portfolio throughout Southern California. This position is ideal for someone with property management or leasing experience who enjoys supporting multiple communities and helping onsite teams succeed. What You'll Do As the Assistant Property Support Manager, you'll provide operational, leasing, and administrative support across multiple apartment communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting properties during manager absences, staffing shortages, or increased leasing activity Conducting apartment tours and leasing available homes Processing rental applications and preparing lease agreements Coordinating lease renewals across our Southern California portfolio Performing property inspections and identifying maintenance or safety concerns Supporting resident retention and delivering outstanding customer service Assisting with rent collection, resident files, notices, and operational reporting Conducting move-in and move-out inspections Ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, California landlord-tenant laws, and company policies Traveling regularly between assigned communities to provide support where needed Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: Minimum 2 years of multifamily property management, leasing, or related housing experience Previous experience as a Leasing Consultant or Assistant Property Manager preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to work independently while supporting multiple onsite teams Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and California landlord-tenant laws Experience with AppFolio (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel throughout Southern California California Real Estate License is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Walk apartment communities and climb stairs Conduct property tours and inspections Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Travel between multiple properties throughout the workweek Why Join Vista International?
