A Residential Community Manager manages operations for an apartment community. Responsible for the maintenance and profitability of the apartment community. May provide information about the community to prospective residents, troubleshoot issues with the buildings and community residents. May also review and approve new lease applications, or be responsible for negotiating and closing sales.

PM Compensation:
$35.00•$40.00 / hour (Based on industry certification, experience, and formal education) General Expectations Operation of an FDC community requires teamwork, coordination, and cooperation from all members of the on-site staff. Every employee should be prepared to assist co-workers with priority tasks. All employees are responsible for keeping the property clean, quiet, orderly, and in good repair. All employees may be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime. Core Responsibilities Direct, supervise, and complete all on-site operations whether those operations are completed by themselves, other FDC employees, such as; Assistant Managers, Leasing Agents, Maintenance persons, and/or outside vendors. Oversee on-site operations including all aspects of property maintenance, vacancy preparation, rental activities, recordkeeping, resident relations, major projects and general administration. Apply knowledge of all FDC policies & procedures, State & Federal landlord and fair housing law, basic property maintenance, office machinery, and the computerized bookkeeping system. Cultivate and develop an effective on-site team, overseeing day-to-day duties. Required Qualifications (Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered)
Education & Experience:
A 4-year degree in a related field OR a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Community Manager.
Portfolio Scale:
Proven managerial experience running a property of at least 150+ units.
Leadership:
Minimum of experience managing 3+ direct reports. Preferred Qualifications

certifications Physical Requirements All positions must be able to: Remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time. Regularly move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.. Regularly tour and inspect apartment communities, grounds, and occasionally roof tops. Regularly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Regularly ascend/descend stairways. Occasionally ascend/descend ladders to access shelving or rooftops. Inspect the physical condition and cleanliness of apartment interiors and grounds. Occasionally lift, move or transport equipment or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. Often works in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally transport themselves to multiple varying locations as far as three hours distance. Occasionally travel overnight. Complete minor maintenance tasks.
