Job Description

Community and Partnership Manager HealthStaff Training Institute (HSTi) About the Role HSTi is looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Community and Partnership Manager to lead outreach efforts with workers' compensation attorneys, claims professionals, medical offices, and rehabilitation counselors across Southern California.
This is a senior role:
you'll manage HSTi's most strategic partner relationships, help shape outreach strategy for the broader partnership team, and provide leadership and mentorship to Community and Partnership Specialists, without formal supervisory authority over them. You'll also help eligible injured workers understand how they may use a California Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (SJDB) voucher for approved training. What You'll Do Own and grow HSTi's most strategic referral relationships, including key law firms, claims organizations, and referral networks across the territory. Provide leadership and mentorship to Community and Partnership Specialists on outreach techniques, relationship-building, and program messaging. Help develop outreach strategy, materials, and best practices for the partnership team. Represent HSTi at a senior level with law firm leadership, professional associations, and industry conferences; identify and cultivate higher-level partnership and sponsorship opportunities. Visit and present to law firms, medical offices, and other referral sources, introducing and explaining HSTi's vocational training options. Explain HSTi's online, hybrid, and campus-based programs, schedules, and enrollment steps clearly and accurately, without promising voucher eligibility, approval, employment, or income. Obtain permission from prospective students before sharing their information with HSTi admissions. Coordinate closely with HSTi's admissions, marketing, career services, and leadership teams, and contribute to strategy discussions on territory coverage and goals. Track partner activity in HSTi's CRM, analyze referral and territory performance, and submit regular reporting. Help onboard and train new team members on outreach approach and compliance requirements. Represent HSTi professionally and model compliance with all privacy, marketing, anti-kickback, and workers' compensation requirements. What We're Looking For 5+ years in field marketing, outside sales, business development, legal services, vocational rehabilitation, healthcare, or education, including experience mentoring or providing leadership to others in a similar role. Established relationships with workers' compensation attorneys, law firms, or claims organizations required. Strong track record of relationship-building, presentation, and partnership development at a senior level. Able to explain programs and funding options accurately without giving legal advice. Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital scheduling tools. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Job Details Full-time, non-exempt | 40 hours/week, primarily Monday-Friday Field-based role with regular office and campus meetings; territory covers Southern California and other assigned service areas, with broader reach into strategic accounts This position requires frequent daily travel to law firms, medical offices, and events across the territory, so a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance are required; mileage is reimbursed per company policy for approved business travel
Pay:
$33-36/hour, plus performance-based bonus
