Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, leasing, and property management skills, with a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations such as Fair Housing and LIHTC. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management abilities to foster positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all legal and safety requirements while maximizing property performance and occupancy rates. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and financial oversight. Oversee leasing processes utilizing Yardi and OneSite property management systems to ensure accurate data entry, contract management, and reporting. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC programs, and other applicable legal requirements. Conduct tenant screening, lease negotiations, and renewal processes while upholding excellent customer service standards. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and dispute resolution. Facilitate conflict management between tenants or vendors to maintain a positive community environment. Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, contracts, maintenance records, and tenant files. Perform regular inspections of properties to identify issues requiring attention or repair. Develop and implement marketing strategies including upselling available units or services to prospective tenants. Collaborate with leasing agents to maximize occupancy through effective sales techniques and customer relationship management. Skills Extensive knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS systems. Strong administrative experience including data entry, filing, contract management, and legal documentation handling. Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities. Proven sales aptitude with experience in property leasing and upselling strategies. Effective negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts. Ability to manage property maintenance issues efficiently while coordinating with facilities management teams. Familiarity with real estate administrative processes including legal compliance and contract administration. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple properties simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
