Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists with enthusiasm and professionalism Use restaurant table management systems to coordinate seating and optimize guest flow Manage reservations effectively, ensuring smooth scheduling during busy hours Handle guest inquiries via phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Process customer payments using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold food safety standards Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and fostering positive guest relations Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction techniques Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Demonstrated commitment to hospitality, guest relations, and food safety standards Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during shifts Join our team where your friendly demeanor, organizational talent, and passion for hospitality will help create memorable experiences for every guest.
