Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of 2 of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management. This role is essential in maintaining a positive living environment for residents while ensuring the property is well-managed and compliant with all regulations. Duties Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Oversee the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease agreements. Maintain accurate records through data entry and documentation of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and financial transactions. Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to property management, including LIHTC regulations. Coordinate property maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of common areas and facilities. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services and negotiate contracts as necessary. Prepare administrative reports on occupancy rates, tenant satisfaction, and property performance metrics. Rent collection and deposit Supervise up to 1 employee Qualifications Must have a current real Estate Salesperson License Proven experience in property management or a related field is required. Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Proficient in administrative tasks including data entry and legal administrative duties. Knowledge of property maintenance practices and ability to coordinate repair work effectively. Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent negotiation skills to manage vendor contracts and lease agreements. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in office software applications for reporting and communication purposes.
