Required Duties:
Community Manager is a working manager, handling all duties such as, leasing, writing work orders, resident retention, rent management and assisting staff with overflow of work. Manage and oversee the leasing staff, training and recruitment. Manage and maintain property standards and safety rules. Manage the maintenance personnel in updating vacancy/move-in/move-out board daily. Manage and secure contract bids regarding property improvement and repair. Walk all vacant rent ready apartments insuring that work has been completed and unit is rent ready. Manage rent collections and maintaining low delinquencies and bad debt collections. Responsible for on-call service when necessary. Showing and renting apartments when necessary. Work in conjunction with Regional Manager/Corporate office regarding lease up and retention and marketing efforts. Community Manager is an Exempt position. Full-time opportunity with medical/dental and vision benefits plus on-site housing available.Required Skills:
- Minimum 4 year of supervisory skills and management preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Word/Excel and Outlook and Google
- Hands on experience with Appfolio
- Social media awareness (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
