We are seeking an experienced and resident-focused Property Manager to lead daily operations and ensure an outstanding living experience for our residents! The Property Manager is responsible for the overall operational, financial, leasing, and resident relations performance of a 55+ active adult community. This individual will lead the onsite team, drive occupancy, maximize revenue, maintain resident satisfaction, and ensure the property is operating efficiently and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community. Lead, coach, and manage onsite leasing and maintenance staff. Drive occupancy through effective leasing, marketing, and resident retention strategies. Maintain occupancy goals and maximize rental revenue. Manage rent collections, delinquency, and lease renewals. Monitor property expenses and financial performance. Prepare monthly reports and communicate property performance to ownership. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure curb appeal, safety, and quality standards. Ensure vacant units are rent-ready and maintained to company standards. Address resident concerns and provide exceptional customer service. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and all applicable laws. Oversee community marketing and leasing efforts.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of Property Management experience required. Lease-up experience is required. Section 8/Housing experience preferred. Renovation or capital improvement project experience is a plus. Strong leasing, marketing, and resident retention experience. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations. Experience with Yardi required; experience with CRM/property management software preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Schedule:
