ON-SITE RESIDENT APARTMENT MANAGER

San Gabriel, CA | 50-Unit Apartment Community We are seeking a professional, dependable, and resident-focused On-Site Apartment Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a 50-unit apartment community in San Gabriel. The property primarily serves international students, making strong communication skills and cultural awareness especially important. Chinese/English bilingual proficiency is required. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary on-site contact for residents and prospective tenants Respond to resident questions, requests, and maintenance concerns in a timely and professional manner Assist with apartment showings, move-ins and move-outs Communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking residents and their families Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with vendors and residents Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Monitor common areas and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community Assist with rent collection and follow up on outstanding balances as directed by management Maintain accurate resident and property records Enforce community rules and lease requirements professionally and consistently Communicate with ownership and the property management office regarding property operations Assist with emergency situations and other property-related matters as needed Qualifications Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English required Previous apartment, property management, hospitality, or customer-service experience highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, patient, and service-oriented approach Ability to communicate effectively with international students and residents from diverse backgrounds Strong organizational and follow-up skills Basic computer and email proficiency Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling resident information Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a responsible, approachable, and organized individual who enjoys working with people and takes pride in maintaining a well-run residential community. Experience working with international students or a multicultural resident population is highly desirable.

1-Bedroom Apartment + 20 hours/week
