This energetic role offers the opportunity to support property operations and the initial lease up at a newly constructed residential development, enhance resident satisfaction, and ensure compliance with housing regulations. You will be a vital part of a collaborative environment, helping to manage day-to-day activities, oversee leasing processes, and maintain exceptional customer service standards. Responsibilities Assist in managing leasing activities, including property tours, tenant screening, and lease signing, with a focus on upselling available units and amenities Support property maintenance coordination by communicating with vendors, tracking work orders, and ensuring timely resolution of issues Maintain accurate data entry within our Yardi and Rent Cafe property management software, including rent collections, tenant information, and service requests Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other legal standards Handle administrative tasks such as filing legal documents, managing contracts, and maintaining organized records for audits and inspections Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident inquiries promptly via phone or in person while demonstrating professional phone etiquette and conflict management skills Support legal administrative processes related to landlord-tenant law and lease enforcement Manage tenant and vendor aged receivable process. Responsible for rent collection, delinquency management, and legal processes including all notices, eviction filings, and notes with PMS system. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, preferably within multifamily housing environments Proficiency with Yardi and Rent Cafe. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution effectively Office experience including data entry, filing, and document management; excellent organizational skills required Ability to negotiate lease terms and contracts confidently while adhering to legal standards Facilities management knowledge including property maintenance coordination and basic facilities oversight Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and customer relationship management abilities This role offers a vibrant environment where your proactive approach and dedication will directly contribute to the success of our community.
