The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a solid understanding of property management practices. This role involves assisting with tenant relations, property leasing, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Duties Assist in managing day-to-day operations of multiple properties, including tenant communications and maintenance requests. Support the leasing process by conducting property showings, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance activities using property management software (experience with AppFolio a PLUS). Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws while addressing tenant concerns and conflicts effectively. Collaborate with maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and upkeep of the property, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for tenants. Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information, contracts, and maintenance records while maintaining organized filing systems. Assist in marketing efforts for vacant units through upselling techniques and effective customer relationship management strategies. Participate in administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing office correspondence. Skills Bi-Lingual is preferred. Experience with AppFolio property management software is highly desirable. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Section 8 housing programs. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on conflict management and resolution. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks. Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing, and administrative duties. Demonstrated phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
