  • Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • As our Neurosurgery NP/PA, you will help patients suffering from neurological or neurosurgical disorders manage their acute and chronic conditions so they can achieve better health through comprehensive, high-quality neurosurgical care.

Every day you will perform neurosurgical consultations, round on inpatients, assist in surgery, and support both surgeon-led and independent clinics. You will be expected to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide extensive patient education and counseling. To be successful in this role, you will possess the clinical training to perform neurosurgical evaluations and the collaborative skills to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.

  • Job Requirements
  • Required:
  • + Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program + Current and unrestricted California license and certification + First-assist surgical experience and comfort in both clinic and OR settings
  • Preferred:
  • + Minimum of 2 year experience in Neurosurgery strongly preferred
