Duties Assist in managing day-to-day property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations Support lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to maintain high standards of safety and appearance Utilize property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS systems for data entry, reporting, and record keeping Handle client communication with professionalism, addressing inquiries promptly via phone or email while maintaining excellent customer service standards Contribute to budgeting processes by tracking expenses and assisting with financial reporting in accordance with property management practices Support conflict management efforts by mediating resident concerns and resolving issues efficiently while adhering to Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law Requirements Proven experience in real estate administrative roles or property management environments, preferably within property management companies Strong familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools; experience or knowledge of Santa Monica Rent Control laws is a plus Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, and lease/rental agreement management Excellent organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing, and office administration using Microsoft Office suite Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, negotiation, and client communication to foster positive resident relationships Experience in property leasing, sales, upselling techniques, and contract management to support occupancy goals Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong team management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and support staff development Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills combined with a professional demeanor in all interactions Join us in creating thriving communities where residents feel valued and supported.
