Are you an experienced Property Manager with a strong understanding of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance and affordable housing operations? We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and resident-focused LIHTC Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a multi-family affordable housing community in Visalia, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a property management professional who is passionate about creating positive resident experiences while ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational excellence. What You'll Do Property Management Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property Maintain high occupancy levels through effective leasing and resident retention efforts Conduct property inspections and ensure curb appeal and community standards are maintained Manage rent collections, delinquencies, and resident accounts Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor work order completion Supervise onsite staff, vendors, and contractors Address resident concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently Enforce lease agreements and community policies LIHTC Compliance Responsibilities Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and other affordable housing regulations Process resident certifications and annual recertifications Review income calculations, asset verifications, and eligibility documentation Maintain accurate resident files and compliance records Prepare for internal and external audits Monitor compliance deadlines and reporting requirements Stay informed on changes in affordable housing regulations and guidelines Financial Responsibilities Assist with annual budgeting and expense control Review monthly financial reports and occupancy trends Monitor accounts receivable and collection efforts Ensure accurate reporting and recordkeeping Support ownership and regional management with operational goals Qualifications Previous Property Management experience required LIHTC experience required Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and compliance standards COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), TCS, HCCP, or equivalent certification preferred Experience with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bilingual in Spanish and English a big plus What We're Looking For Strong LIHTC compliance knowledge Exceptional leadership and communication skills Resident-focused mindset Financial and operational management experience Strong attention to detail and documentation Professionalism, integrity, and accountability Why Join Their Team?
