A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven Leasing Manager to lead leasing efforts, drive occupancy goals, and support an exceptional experience for prospective and current residents. What You'll Be Doing As our Leasing Manager , you'll oversee the community's leasing and marketing efforts while leading the leasing team to achieve occupancy, retention, and customer service goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting all leasing activities, including prospect engagement, apartment tours, application processing, and lease execution Managing and coaching leasing team members to achieve leasing, occupancy, and customer service objectives Monitoring occupancy trends, leasing performance, and market conditions to develop strategies that drive traffic, conversions, and resident retention Creating and implementing marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and social media strategies to increase community visibility and leasing success Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, referral partners, and community organizations Reviewing applications, lease documentation, renewals, and resident files to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies Maintaining knowledge of community availability, pricing, lease expirations, and market competition Conducting regular inspections of leasing areas, model homes, and community presentation standards while partnering with maintenance and housekeeping teams as needed Delivering exceptional customer service to prospects, residents, and guests while helping resolve concerns and questions professionally Preparing and reviewing leasing reports, traffic reports, and performance metrics to support community goals Ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, company policies, and applicable laws Performing other duties as assigned Who You Are We're looking for someone who combines strong sales skills, leadership ability, and a passion for customer service.
The ideal candidate will have:
Two or more years of leasing, leasing management, property management, or related experience required Previous experience leading, coaching, or mentoring leasing professionals preferred Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively convert prospects into residents Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities with exceptional attention to detail Ability to analyze leasing trends, market conditions, and performance metrics to drive results Experience developing marketing initiatives and community outreach strategies preferred Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with residents, prospects, vendors, contractors, and team members High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree in Business, Marketing, Property Management, or a related field preferred HUD and/or LIHTC experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel Experience with Yardi, ResMan, OneSite, or other property management software preferred Bilingual skills are a plus but not required Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required Why You'll Love Working With Us We believe in taking care of our team just as much as our residents.
