This role is responsible for overseeing resident account management, rent collections, accounting support, and the eviction process while providing exceptional customer service to our residents. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with deadlines, and able to balance administrative, financial, and resident-facing responsibilities. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and post resident rent payments accurately.
Manage rent collections and communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances.
Monitor and respond to resident inquiries through EliseAI.Prepare and manage eviction filings while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Assist residents with identifying and applying for available rent assistance programs.
Complete pre-close accounting tasks and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Conduct move-out inspections and prepare Security Deposit Accounting (SODA) statements and deposit settlements.
Provide support with leasing activities, resident files, and general office administration as needed.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
QualificationsPrevious experience in property management, leasing, bookkeeping, or administrative support REQUIRED.Minimum 2 years of experience on a property of more than 400 units REQUIRED.Experience with rent collections, managing resident accounts, or accounting functions is REQUIRED.Ability to prepare eviction filings and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Experience completing pre-close accounting tasks, completing month-end close, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Strong ability to accurately process payments, prepare Security Deposit Accounting (SODA) statements, and maintain complete documentation.
Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software is preferred.
