Job Description

Do you have experience with LIHTC? We have a community in need of your expertise! Our client, a national property management company specializing in high quality affordable housing properties is seeking a Property Manager to join their team.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in affordable housing management LIHTC or subsidy processing is required. High School diploma or GED Appfollio expereince. Demonstrated ability to lead a small team, including teaching and training, and fostering an environment of teamwork and collaborations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required. Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications, recertifications and negotiating lease renewals. Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations. Assist in all facets of physical and financial Management as needed and assigned. Act as Property Manager in absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time. Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager as well as resident correspondence, and recertification notices. Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices. Act as a liaison to HUD, USDA, and Contract Administrators to ensure detailed understanding of their submission requirements. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
