Job Description
Description Robert Half Marketing and Creative looking for a socially savvy Online Community Manager to represent the brand across digital channels and help grow a connected, motivated audience for a client in the retail and fitness space. This Long-term and part time Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys building authentic relationships online, guiding conversations in real time, and creating positive experiences for followers, partners, and advocates. The person in this role will shape day-to-day community interactions, strengthen brand presence, and uncover ways to expand engagement across key social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily interaction across social platforms by responding to comments, messages, and community posts in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Engage directly with audiences on channels such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, private Facebook communities, TikTok, and other relevant online spaces
- Track brand mentions, tags, and conversation trends to join discussions proactively and increase visibility
- Develop strong online relationships with brand partners, advocates, and community members to encourage ongoing participation
- Contribute to conversations connected to fitness lifestyle interests, including home gym and garage gym topics, in ways that feel natural and valuable
- Maintain a welcoming and active online environment that reflects the brand voice and supports meaningful audience connection
- Recognize sensitive feedback or service-related concerns and route them to the appropriate internal teams for follow-up
- Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that can improve engagement and support broader social media initiatives Requirements
- Previous experience managing online communities for a brand, agency, or creator-focused business
- Strong working knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and community-driven digital spaces
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to shift tone appropriately while remaining consistent with brand standards
- Proven ability to stay organized and responsive while handling multiple conversations across platforms
- Demonstrated interest in audience engagement, relationship-building, and community growth
- Familiarity with fitness, home gym, garage gym, or related lifestyle communities is strongly preferred
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and professionalism in public-facing interactions
