Job Description

Life's Hope Therapeutic Services PLLC Two Positions Available Life's Hope Therapeutic Services PLLC is seeking two compassionate, dependable, and growth-oriented mental health counselors to join our team. These counselors will primarily work with children, adolescents, and families. Life's Hope welcomes and serves clients from all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and belief systems. Due to an increasing number of families requesting faith-based services, we are specifically seeking counselors who have experience providing Christian-integrated counseling. The counselor must be able to incorporate Christian beliefs, biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual concerns into treatment when clinically appropriate and requested by the client or family. Christian integration must remain client-led and should never be imposed upon a client. Position Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and parent-support counseling Work with children, adolescents, parents, and caregivers Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation Use developmentally appropriate, evidence-based, and trauma-informed interventions Incorporate play-based or expressive interventions when appropriate Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the child's treatment goals Incorporate Christian faith and biblical principles when requested by the client or family Maintain appropriate clinical boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards Participate in supervision, consultation, training, and team meetings Complete documentation within Life's Hope's required timeframes Preferred Experience Experience counseling children, adolescents, and families Knowledge of child development, parenting concerns, trauma, and family systems Experience with play therapy techniques or other developmentally appropriate interventions Experience providing Christian-integrated or faith-sensitive counseling Ability to discuss faith, prayer, Scripture, and spiritual concerns in an ethical and clinically appropriate manner Ability to respect and serve clients with beliefs and backgrounds that may differ from the counselor's own Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to continued professional and clinical growth Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field Current Colorado license or license-eligible credential LPC, LPCC, LCSW, SWC, LMFT, or MFTC candidates are encouraged to apply Ability to pass all required background checks Professional liability insurance as required Willingness to follow Life's Hope policies, clinical standards, and documentation requirements About Life's Hope Life's Hope Therapeutic Services PLLC provides compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centered mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
