A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

$150,000 + Additional Compensation Opportunities Lead a Growing Commercial Portfolio A privately owned commercial real estate investment and management company is seeking an experienced Director of Commercial Property Management to lead a growing portfolio of office, retail, and mixed-use properties throughout the Northeast and along the East Coast. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong teams, improving operations, creating scalable processes, and solving complex challenges. You'll work closely with ownership and executive leadership and have a meaningful voice in how the portfolio operates and grows. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day operations across a portfolio of office, retail, and mixed-use properties Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial property management team Establish consistent operating standards, policies, and best practices Oversee annual budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and capital planning Drive operational efficiencies and NOI improvement Develop KPIs and reporting tools to measure portfolio performance Identify opportunities to use technology, AI, and automation to improve operations Oversee capital projects, vendor relationships, contracts, and operational risk Build strong tenant relationships and resolve complex operational issues Participate in acquisition due diligence and the transition of newly acquired properties Partner with ownership on leasing strategies, redevelopment initiatives, and opportunities to enhance asset value Build scalable systems and processes that support continued portfolio growth What We're Looking For 7+ years of commercial property management experience with office, retail, and/or mixed-use properties 5+ years leading multi-property teams and commercial portfolios Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, capital planning, and NOI management Understanding of commercial real estate investment principles and asset performance Proven success improving operations, implementing best practices, and developing teams Experience overseeing capital projects, vendors, tenant relationships, and operational risk Entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented mindset Bachelor's degree required Engineering degree is a plus, but not required CPM, RPA, FMA, or similar designation is a plus Must be based in or willing to relocate to Stamford, Connecticut , with the ability to travel throughout the portfolio Compensation & Benefits $150,000 base salary Additional compensation opportunities tied to long-term portfolio performance and strategic objectives Competitive benefits package Paid time off Retirement benefits Professional growth and advancement opportunities Why This Opportunity?
