The Property Manager is responsible for directly managing all aspects of their assigned commercial and/or residential properties. Responsibilities Advertise vacant propertiesShow properties to prospective tenants and inform them of all available amenitiesHold open housesQualify prospective tenants using background checks and referencesAccept rental payments and provide receiptsRespond to tenant inquiriesMaintain deep knowledge of the local market and housing trendsNegotiate leasing terms and close dealsInspect properties on a regular basis and schedule necessary maintenance/repairsProvide administrative support and other duties as assignedFollow all Equal Housing Opportunity guidelines, local laws, and company policiesQualifications Proven working experience in property managementHigh school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferredProperty Management or Real Estate License preferredDeep understanding of real estate law and leasing practicesUp-to-date on the local real estate marketExcellent communication, negotiation, and sales skillsExperience with property management software preferred
