Job Description for Administrator at Haines City FL Moose Lodge #2083 The Administrator at a Moose Lodge plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations, managing resources, and ensuring the community's goals and mission are met. This position requires book keeping, organizational skills, and a commitment to community engagement.
Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight :
Manage the daily operations of the lodge, including coordination of events, maintenance of facilities, and adherence to regulations, to work hand in hand with the Social Quarters Manager.
Financial Management :
Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and financial audits. Ensure proper record-keeping and managing billing and invoicing processes.
Member Relations :
Foster a welcoming environment for members and guests. Address any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
Event Participation :
Join fundraising, lodge games, and events.
Compliance and Governance :
Ensure adherence to the Moose Lodge Bylaws and local regulations. Prepare reports for lodge meetings and maintain accurate records.
Community Engagement :
Promote lodge activities and member participation. Build relationships with local organizations and community members.
Qualifications Education :
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
Experience :
Previous experience in administration or management, preferably within a non-profit or community organization.
Skills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in office software (e.g., Quick Books, Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Knowledge of financial management and budgeting. Working Conditions Typically based at the lodge with occasional evening or weekend hours required for events. May involve physical activity, including lifting boxes and setting up event spaces. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a beloved community institution while overseeing its daily operations and fostering a sense of community among members.
Pay:
$400.00 - $500.00 per week
