May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description

A property management company is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a brand-new luxury apartment community in Davenport, Florida. We are looking for a strong multifamily leader with experience in property operations, leasing, financial performance, resident relations, and team management. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily property operations, leasing, occupancy, and overall community performance. Manage rent collection, delinquencies, and appropriate corrective or legal actions. Review financial statements, budgets, expenses, and property performance. Oversee property contracts, purchasing, and invoice approvals. Monitor leasing activity, market conditions, rental rates, renewals, and competition. Conduct regular property inspections and ensure high standards for buildings, grounds, common areas, and unit turns. Hire, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate onsite administrative and maintenance staff. Ensure the onsite team provides excellent customer service to residents and prospective residents. Address resident concerns and ensure community policies and procedures are followed. Ensure required inspections, permits, licenses, documentation, and safety standards are maintained. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of Property Management experience. Multifamily apartment management experience required. Strong knowledge of leasing, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, delinquencies, collections, and financial reporting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and resident relations skills.
