  • (Night Shift) Private Residential Community | Military or Law-Enforcement Experience Strongly Preferred A prestigious private residential community is seeking experienced, professional Armed Security Officers to join its security and protection team.
We are currently hiring for:
Full-time positions Part-time positions Applicants with prior service in the United States Armed Forces or experience as a sworn law-enforcement officer are strongly preferred. Position Overview The Armed Security Officer is responsible for protecting residents, guests, employees, and property through professional access-control operations, mobile patrols, security-system monitoring, and incident response. Officers will work closely with an experienced security team, community management, local law-enforcement agencies, and emergency responders to maintain a safe and secure residential environment. Primary Responsibilities Conduct access-control operations at designated community entry points Verify residents, visitors, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel Perform vehicle and golf-cart patrols throughout the community Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems Respond promptly to suspicious activity, alarms, emergencies, and security incidents Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence Communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and fellow officers Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency responders Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required security documentation Follow all community security policies, post orders, and established procedures Preferred Qualifications and Experience Prior United States military service Former sworn law-enforcement experience Residential community, military, law-enforcement, or related private-security experience Experience with CCTV monitoring, access-control systems, visitor-management systems, and professional report writing Current CPR, AED, or First Aid certification Required Qualifications Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License Valid Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies High level of integrity, reliability, discipline, and situational awareness Ability to work effectively as part of a professional security team Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as assigned How to Apply Qualified applicants must submit a current resume to be considered.
