Job Description

Overview The Resident Support team plays a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals, particularly those that on their journey of mental wellness. This position involves working closely with residents to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting their independence and quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping others and an understanding of the unique needs of individuals Duties Provide support to individuals that are on their journey of mental wellness, ensuring their daily needs are met. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation. Observe residents for any changes in condition and report findings to the appropriate team members . Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents, adhering to hygiene standards. Support residents in participating in activities that enhance their social skills and independence. Collaborate with Case Management to implement individualized support plans. Ensure compliance with resident privacy and confidentiality. Transport residents to their appointments Observe residents manage their activities of daily living. Conduct urine screens. Skills Experience or training in the Mental Health/Behavioral Health field Compassion is a must Ability to work independently and as a team Proficiency in first aid techniques and emergency response procedures. Ability to perform resident observation effectively, noting any significant changes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate records. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents and team members. A commitment to maintaining a clean environment conducive to resident wellness and safety. This role is essential for fostering a supportive atmosphere where individuals can thrive while receiving the support they need.

Full-time Pay:
$36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
