Our landscaping team plays a major role in how communities look, feel, and operate every day. The Role We are looking for a Landscaping Lead who can help run our landscaping operation in the field. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will work directly with crews, visit properties, check quality, solve problems, manage schedules, and make sure the work gets done correctly and on time. The right person is someone who takes ownership, knows landscaping, understands crews, and can help build a strong operation from the ground up. What You'll Do Lead landscaping crews in the field each day. Make sure properties are serviced on schedule. Help plan routes, daily assignments, and weekly work. Walk properties and confirm what needs to be done. Check work quality before the crew leaves the site. Make sure mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, bed care, mulch, sod, irrigation checks, and cleanup are done properly. Report issues such as broken irrigation, damaged plants, unsafe areas, missed work, or extra work needed. Take before-and-after photos when needed. Help train crew members on company standards, equipment use, safety, and site expectations. Make sure crews use PPE and follow safety rules. Keep equipment, trucks, trailers, and tools clean, organized, and working. Report equipment problems early so repairs can be handled quickly. Track materials, supplies, equipment, and job notes. Help manage vendors, deliveries, mulch, plants, soil, sod, disposal, and other materials. Communicate with clients, managers, and internal teams in a professional way. Help control labor time, materials, rework, and unnecessary costs. Support special projects, storm cleanup, enhancements, and emergency work when needed. Provide updates to the Head of Landscaping on progress, issues, staffing, equipment, and risks. What We're Looking For You may be a good fit if you: Have strong landscaping field experience. Can work with schedules, routes, photos, checklists, and basic reports. Speak English and Spanish, preferred. Required Experience 5+ years of landscaping, grounds maintenance, or similar field service experience. Experience leading crews, foremen, or labor teams. Knowledge of mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, trimming, bed care, mulch, sod, irrigation basics, and property cleanup. Basic understanding of irrigation issues, watering schedules, leaks, broken heads, and zone problems. Ability to use and maintain landscaping equipment. Ability to read schedules, follow routes, and document completed work. Valid driver's license. Ability to work outdoors in heat, rain, and changing field conditions. Ability to lift, carry, walk, bend, and work physically throughout the day. Preferred Experience HOA, condo, commercial, or large community landscaping experience. Irrigation, arbor, pesticide, or fertilization certifications. Experience with trailers, trucks, mowers, handheld equipment, and fleet maintenance. Experience estimating materials, mulch, plants, sod, or enhancement work. Experience working with nurseries, vendors, or suppliers.
