Do you have experience working in residential, behavioral health, substance abuse, or other social service settings? Drug Abuse Treatment Association, Inc. (DATA) is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and confident Senior Resident Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in creating a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment where clients can focus on their treatment and personal growth. The Senior Resident Manager serves as a positive role model while providing direct supervision, supporting daily activities, responding to challenging situations, and helping maintain a safe and therapeutic community. What You'll Do Provide direct supervision and support to clients while promoting their physical and emotional safety. Build positive relationships with clients and create a respectful, supportive residential community. Serve as a positive role model for clients and staff through professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude. Recognize and respond appropriately to crisis situations using effective de-escalation techniques. Help prevent and resolve conflicts by using sound judgment, fairness, and appropriate intervention strategies. Communicate observations, concerns, and important client information to supervisors, therapists, and other members of the treatment team. Enforce agency and residential program rules, policies, and procedures consistently and fairly. Establish rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse population in both individual and group settings. Complete required documentation, including daily logs, behavior reports, incident reports, client passes, medical documentation, group notes, and activity reports. Participate in treatment team meetings and staff meetings as required. Work with the Residential Program Supervisor and Residential Therapists to develop and post weekly schedules. Develop and maintain educational bulletin boards addressing topics relevant to clients. Assist with client transportation using agency-owned vehicles when required. Complete required annual training in accordance with agency, DCF, and CARF requirements.

What We're Looking For Required:

Bachelor's degree in mental health, social services, or a related field. Prior experience in substance abuse treatment, residential services, behavioral health, or working with adolescents is preferred. Experience in settings such as group homes, emergency shelters, residential treatment programs, or similar environments is helpful. Valid Florida driver's license with no more than one moving violation during the three years immediately preceding employment. Strong communication, judgment, organization, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging or crisis situations.
