Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our tax credit community. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent service to residents while ensuring the property achieves financial and occupancy goals.
Duties:
Oversee all day-to-day operations of the property. Supervise on-site leasing and maintenance staff, ensuring high performance and accountability. Maintain positive tenant relations by responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and service requests. Manage all tenancy aspects, including new leases, renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and retention strategies. Monitor property budget, control expenses, and strive to maximize net operating income. Implement and monitor marketing strategies and tenant selection processes to maintain occupancy at 95% or better. Ensure compliance with property regulations, housing requirements, and tax credit guidelines. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are upheld. Manage rent collection, delinquency control, and financial reporting. Work closely with ownership and regional management to meet performance targets and community goals.
Requirements:
Previous property management experience required (tax credit community experience strongly preferred). Proven ability to manage staff and foster a collaborative team environment. Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices and facilities management. Proficient with property management software (e.g., OneSite) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and financial management abilities. Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
