Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced LIHTC Assistant Manager to join our team for one of our apartment communities located in Naples, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Manager however we are willing to train the right candidate with excellent leasing, customer service and sales experience. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred. LIHTC experience is required. The Assistant Manager will be expected to be experienced in leasing, customer service, sales, resident retention, recertification's, marketing, rent collections and assisting the Property Manager in any additional duties assigned by the Manager. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maximizing market rents and maintaining high occupancy levels through effective marketing and leasing policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet prospects and residents with a positive enthusiastic manner Maintain a professional and positive relationship with prospective and current residents as well as vendors and staff Enter all guest cards and follow up on guest cards into Yardi daily Enter work orders in Yardi as they come in Responsible to maintain accurate files for all new move ins and recertification's Submit accurate monthly program report Completion of recertification's in a timely manner Submit files to collections monthly Maintain accurate and detailed knowledge of delinquency and rent collections Draft and deliver all resident correspondence, notices and legal notices Walk all move outs and process paperwork within 3 days of move out Responsible for all leasing, marketing and updating all advertising Close out work orders daily Maintain constant knowledge of surrounding market and comps to maximize rental rates
Qualifications:
Previous experience with Yardi property management software is preferred. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with all aspects of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and outgoing personality. Dependable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel as required. Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities. Excellent leasing, closing, and sales skills, with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service. Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills. Completion of Fair Housing training required. Ability to remain calm, professional, and productive under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Experience with CRM systems and Blue Moon software is a plus.

2 years of experience and Yardi knowledge preferred. Valid driver's license and drivers insurance Must be organized and have the ability to multitask Excellent closing/sales skills and excellent customer service skills Professional written and oral communication skills Must have had Fair Housing Training Ability to work under pressure and to work independently Knowledge of CRM and Blue Moon software is a plus.
