What You'll Do Take ownership of the new-construction lease-up and stabilization process , including developing and executing strategies to achieve aggressive occupancy goals. Lead the day-to-day operations of the community while maintaining a high level of customer service and operational excellence. Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and develop Community Management and Maintenance team members. Establish and achieve occupancy, leasing, renewal, revenue, and resident retention goals . Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximize traffic, conversions, rents, and overall revenue performance. Partner with the Vice President of Marketing to develop and execute effective marketing strategies that generate qualified traffic, maximize rents, minimize concessions, and maintain strong occupancy. Monitor lead management, follow-up, leasing activity, conversion ratios, and team performance. Develop and implement creative resident retention and customer experience strategies . Create, coordinate, and execute engaging resident events and community programming. Build strong relationships with residents, prospects, vendors, and team members. Oversee lease expiration management, rent revenue optimization, collections, and overall financial performance. Ensure exceptional customer service from the initial prospect interaction through move-in and renewal. Maintain compliance with company policies, Fair Housing requirements, and applicable regulations. Ensure the community consistently meets company standards for curb appeal, maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and presentation. Utilize technology and property management systems to improve operational efficiency and the resident experience.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Community Manager in market-rate multifamily housing. New-construction lease-up experience preferred. Demonstrated success achieving aggressive occupancy, leasing, renewal, and retention goals. Strong leadership and team-management skills. Yardi experience required. Strong knowledge of multifamily operations, leasing, resident relations, and collections. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Technology-savvy and comfortable learning and utilizing new platforms and systems. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Bachelor's degree or college education. Previous Orlando/Baldwin Park market experience preferred. Experience managing workforce housing or class A communities. Experience taking a community from initial lease-up through stabilization. Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media.
