Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Leasing Specialist to join our property management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants. Responsibilities Respond promptly to rental inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing exceptional customer service and detailed information about available properties. Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and answering questions to facilitate lease agreements. Manage lease or rental agreement documentation using property management tools such as Yardi and Bluemoon. Verify applicant information through background checks, credit reports, and landlord references while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. Negotiate lease terms with applicants, upselling additional services or amenities when appropriate to enhance tenant satisfaction. Maintain organized records of all leasing activities including data entry, filing, and updating client information in Yardi. Collaborate with property management staff on tenant move-ins/move-outs, property maintenance scheduling, and occupancy tracking. Other tasks assigned by Supervisor Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity using Yardi. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication and phone etiquette. Demonstrated ability to negotiate lease terms and handle conflict management professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and correspondence. Prior experience working within a property management company. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Must be able to work
